Manifestation methods are powerful tools to help you make your dreams a reality. Truth be told, you don’t actually need any methods at all to attract what you want, but most people find them to be very helpful in their manifestation journeys.
The most important thing to realize when manifesting is that regardless of which method or technique you use, your thoughts and emotions are the most important aspects of manifesting.
In order to manifest successfully, you must think good thoughts and feel good emotions. Your emotions are the deciding factor of which reality you are currently experiencing.
When you feel good, you send out good vibrations out into the universe which then responds with those same feel-good vibrations in the form of people, places and situations. However, the same can be said for negative vibrations as well, so it’s always important to be aware of your emotional and vibrational state.
What is Manifestation?
Manifestation is the process of attracting your dreams and desires by focusing on positive thoughts and emotions. You are constantly sending out vibrations to the universe which responds much like a mirror, returning the exact vibrations you are sending out.
If you are in a constant state of feeling good, the universe will deliver positive situations, people and things into your life. On the other hand, if you’re in a constant state of negativity, that is exactly what you will receive from the universe.
What you focus on expands. When you are constantly focusing on problems, difficulties and things which annoy or bother you, guess what? You’re sending those vibrations out into the universe which responds by bringing you more of what you are focusing on.
Of course, it’s not possible to always be focusing on the good and positive parts of life, but the more you practice being aware of where you are placing your attention, the better you’ll get at guiding your awareness towards things you wish to attract more of.
How to Manifest
We are manifesting all the time because we are always sending vibrations and energy out into the universe. The law of attraction is always working. It’s not like a switch you can turn on and off whenever you feel like it. Even people who don’t know about manifestation and the law of attraction are constantly manifesting their own realities. Unfortunately, because they are not aware of their ability to consciously manifest what they desire, they more often than not attract things they rather not experience.
If you want to manifest, the first thing you have to do is define exactly what you want to manifest. Whether it’s a loving relationship, more confidence, or a new car; you must first define what you want. Once you do, get very clear on exactly what you want to the smallest details. This sends off a clear message to the universe, like you’re placing an order and now patiently waiting for it to arrive.
As soon as you send out your clear intention, the manifestation process has already begun. Some people are able to pin point what they want and simply sit back and allow the universe to deliver it to them, but for many others, the process of waiting can be difficult and uncomfortable. You may have doubts on whether or not your manifestations are going to manifest, (They will, as long as you believe they will. Don’t forget your beliefs create your reality) or you may feel strange not doing anything else to get what you want, but waiting for opportunities to arrive.
If you feel called to do a manifestation method, by all means, do it! It can help you to gain more trust in your abilities to manifest and can even help speed up the manifestation process.
If you’re still reading, I’m assuming you’re interested in manifestation methods, so let’s take a look at 11 manifestation methods to help you manifest what you want.
1.) The 369 Method
“If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6, and 9, then you would have the key to the universe.”

Once you have a clear vision of your desires, write them down; make sure to write them in present tense. For example, rather than affirming “I want…” you would affirm “I have…”
Saying “I have” puts you into the vibrational state of receiving your desires rather than just desiring them.
Once you have decided on an affirmation, you would then…
- Write down that affirmation 3 times in the morning
- Write down that affirmation 6 times in the afternoon
- Write down that affirmation 9 times in the evening
And that’s all there is to it! While writing down your affirmations, allow yourself to go to a quiet place where you are able to be alone with your thoughts and desires. As you’re writing down your affirmations, try and feel the emotions of having that desire. The stronger you feel, the quicker you attract your desires.
The Significance of the Numbers
These aren’t just any random numbers. Each number corresponds to a specific meaning to help you to amplify your desires and attract them more quickly into your life.
- 3 represents our creative power and ability to shape reality.
- 6 represents harmony and balance between our physical and spiritual lives.
- 9 represents spiritual rebirth, completion and the release of negative energy.
Together these numbers work to help bring your manifestations into your life.
2.) Scripting
Scripting is one of my favorite manifestation methods. Not only does it allow you to clearly define exactly what it is that you want, but it also helps you to be in the space of having your desires and gives you a glimpse of what life would be like if you had those desires already.
Scripting is very simple and there is a lot of freedom to use this method how you wish. To begin this method, you’ll need paper, a pen and your imagination and that’s pretty much it! Once you have your tools, you’re ready to begin.
When it comes to scripting, what you’re going to do is begin writing in first person (I), and you’re going to write as though you were writing in a diary on the day you receive all of your desires. For example, if you are trying to manifest a house, you would write something like… “I walked into my beautiful new home and felt so happy to have such a wonderful house…” Try and write what you’re feeling as well. This will help you to better embody the emotions of your desires.
While scripting it’s important to write either in past tense “I received my dream car…” or in the present tense “I am receiving my dream car…” try to avoid writing in future tense, “I will get my dream car…” because if you are affirming in the future, then your desires are always coming but they are never here.
3.) Vision Board
Vision boards have been gaining more and more popularity in recent times. Chances are, you’ve heard about or seen a vision board at some point in your life, but these boards are more than just aesthetically pleasing wall decorations. They are a powerful visual tool for your desires.
Vision boards work by reminding you of your desires as well as the positive emotions tied to them. When you look at your vision board, your attention goes to your desires, and as we hopefully know by now, what you focus on, you attract.
Creating a vision board can be a fun and easy task where you can allow your creativity to go wild.
- First, you’ll need to find a cork board or something where you can pin or tape pictures and reminders of your desires. If you don’t have one, you can always use a piece of cardboard and decorate it in decorative paper.
- Next, you’ll need to find pictures of your desires, or find things which remind you of those things you wish to have. For example, you can print out pictures from the internet or cut out pictures from magazines. If you’re manifesting money, you could pin a dollar bill onto your board. Whatever it is you’re manifesting, make sure the visuals you have on your board remind you of your desires.
- Finally, you’re going to place your vision board somewhere where you will see it every day. This can be at the foot of your bed or on the wall of your living room. Where ever you place it, make sure you’ll see it at least once a day.
Hint: You could even make mini vision boards (The size of a small card) and place it in your wallet. This way whenever you open your wallet, you’ll be reminded of your desires.
4.) Visualization
Visualization is another powerful method to speed up your manifestations. The best part about this method is that this technique can be done anywhere. All you need is your imagination.
Your mind is one of the most powerful tools you have at your disposal when it comes to manifesting your desires. When you practice visualization, you are putting yourself in a positive energetic state and sending out high vibrations to the universe.
How to visualize-
- Lay or sit down in a comfortable position
- Imagine yourself already having your desires (If other thoughts show up, gently move them aside for later and bring your attention back to your visualization).
- Try your best to feel how it would feel if you already had everything you wanted.
When it comes to visualizing what you want, the most important thing to do is to cultivate the feelings you would have if your desires were already fulfilled. By doing this, you are sending out the message to the universe that you already have what you want. Your vibration becomes one of abundance, and the universe responds by giving you more of it.
If you find yourself having difficulty visualizing, try putting on some music that puts you in a feel-good mood. If you still find yourself having trouble visualizing, maybe try your hand at another method. Affirmations work great if visualization is just not working for you.
5.) Affirmations
When it comes to manifestation methods, affirmations are one of the most well-known methods around. It’s easy, quick and can be done nearly anywhere.
Affirmations are phrases you write or speak to yourself with the intention of evoking feel-good emotions and changing subconscious beliefs and thought patterns. This method can help you to manifest what you desire by shifting negative beliefs and helping you to focus on what you want, rather than on what you don’t.
How to use affirmations
The process of using affirmations is fairly simple. You can write them down on a piece of paper or you can say them out loud or in your head. You can even find videos online and listen to affirmations if you’d like.
- When using affirmations, try and phrase them in the present tense. For example, if you were trying to manifest more money into your life, you would say something like… “Money comes to me easily.” Or “I have an infinite amount of money”. You can phrase your affirmations however you like, but it’s important to make sure that they make you feel good and place you in a high vibrational state.
- Stay consistent throughout the day. Affirmations work by using repetition, which means saying them once probably isn’t going to do much, so it’s up to you to constantly repeat these affirmations as you go about your day.
- Make them mean something. While repeating affirmations, don’t just mindlessly drone on while saying them. Each time you say, write, or listen to an affirmation, allow it to mean something to you. Feel them as though they were already true. When you do this, you align your energy with the affirmations you are speaking and attract your desires even faster into your reality.
6.) The Pillow Method
If you love sleeping, this method is for you! The pillow method combines intention setting, visualization, scripting and (here’s the best part) sleeping.
This method helps you to reprogram your subconscious mind by repeating affirmations as well as using visualization before your go to sleep. Right before you go to sleep, your mind is in a very receptive state and absorbs affirmations like a sponge. Using the pillow method helps to rewire your mindset and manifest your dreams into a reality.
When you’re drifting off to sleep, your ego takes a step back. This means that there is less conscious resistance, and you are able to go into your subconscious mind and shift your beliefs about yourself and your desires much easier than if you were fully awake.
How to use the Pillow Method:
- Write down you desires. This can be done in the form of affirmations or scripting. Just make sure your desires are clear and detailed.
- When you’re getting ready for bed, relax and clear your mind and energy. This can be done through relaxing activities such as meditation, yoga, reading or simply lighting a candle and saying a prayer.
- Hold the paper where you have listed your desires and either, visualize yourself having them, or repeat your desires in the form of affirmations.
- When you’re ready to go to sleep, place the paper under your pillow and go to sleep. While falling asleep, try to either, focus on your desires or drift off in a meditative state, whichever feels good to you.
7.) Abundance Checks
Abundance checks are a great way to manifest more abundance and prosperity into your life. Not only do they help to remind you of your goals, but they also help you to raise your vibration to match the energy of your desires.
The first step to using an abundance check is to have a blank check. You can find and print one out online, or you can create your own check by using digital software or a paper and pen. Once you have one, you are ready to begin this method.
- Step One: Fill in the date section at the top of the check. This can be a specific date in the future, a random date, or you can just write down the current date. It’s completely up to you.
- Step Two: Write down your name on the “Pay to the Order of” line.
- Step Three: Write down the amount of money you wish to manifest on the “Amount” line. Don’t worry about writing down too much, you can have as much fun with this as you want. Just make sure that you pick a number that feels good when you read it.
- Step Four: Fill out the memo section. You can write whatever you want here. Imagine the first thing you will do with your newfound money and write it down. This is a great way to encourage you whenever you read it!
- Step Five: Finally, sign the check. You can write “The Universe”, “Source”, “Law of Abundance” or “Abundant Universe”, for example. Just write whatever feels best to you.
Now you have your very own abundance check! But now what? Well, you can use your abundance check in many ways. One of the best ways to use your check is to fold it up and keep it in your pocket or wallet so you have it with you throughout the day.
Or, you can keep it beside your bed or on a vision board. You can even place it in a box or drawer in order to keep it protected, as though you were putting some money away in a safe place.
8.) 2-cup method
The two-cup method is an easy and effective method for anyone wishing to manifest new things into their lives or a new reality altogether. Just as it sounds, it requires two cups and uses visualization and intention.
How to use the two-cup method
- First, label your cups. On one of your cups, you are going to label the reality which you are currently living in. On the other cup, you are going to label it with your desired reality. Come up with easy labels to describe both your desires and your current reality. For example, if you were trying to manifest a more peaceful life, you would write something like:
Cup 1: Current reality- I have a noisy, chaotic life.
Cup 2: Desired reality- I have a peaceful, relaxed life.
When writing down you labels, make sure your affirmations are in present tense. This method involves fully embodying your desired reality with your mind and emotions and ‘leaving’ behind your undesired current reality.
Technically, you’re not physically going anywhere, but once you make the conscious decision to shift your life, you’ll begin to attract new things and notice your reality begins to change. It may take a while, but if you continue to persist in the emotions of having what you want, then by the law of attraction, they will begin to manifest into your 3D reality.
- After you label your cups, you are going to fill the first cup, the “current reality” cup, with water.
- Next, visualize, affirm and feel what it would be like in your desired reality. Much of this method involves embodying the feeling of already having your desires in order to manifest them into your 3D reality. Try your best to fully feel as though you are already living the life of your dreams.
- Once you have finished visualizing, you’re going to pour the water from cup #1 (Current reality) into cup #2 (Desired reality) As you do this, visualize your reality shifting and changing.
- Finally, you’re going to drink the water. This is the final step in this method and the act of drinking the water symbolizes the completion of your desires. By drinking the water, you are finalizing your desires and releasing your old reality and embodying the new.
9.) The 17-Second Method
The 17-second method is one of the quickest methods best fit for a busy life. If the other methods are a little too extensive for your busy schedule, the 17-second method is perfect for you. Just like the name indicates, it only takes 17 seconds!
How to use the 17-second method
Step 1– Get into a feel-good state. With any method, it’s important to be in a positive high vibrational state. If you find yourself not feeling the greatest, try doing something else and coming back when you’re feeling better.
Step 2– Put on a timer for 17 seconds. For these 17 seconds, visualize, affirm or feel your desires as intensely as you can. Try to focus only on your desires, and if another thought comes up, put it aside for later.
Step 3– Let it go. Once your timer goes off, release your desires. You have given your desires momentum by placing intense attention on them and now you’re releasing these desires to the universe, trusting it to deliver.
And there you go! You can do this method many times throughout the day, or simply once, whatever feels right to you. Easy and quick, this is the perfect method for people with busy schedules. After all, anyone can spare 17 seconds!
10.) 55×5 method
This method is fairly simple and can be helpful, especially to those who feel as though they need to do something in order to manifest what they want. This method involves repeating affirmations down on a piece of paper and repeating them a certain number of times.
- Think about your desires and create an affirmation for it. It doesn’t have to be long, in fact, it might be easier to create a short affirmation so it’s easier to remember.
- Write down your affirmation 55 times for 5 days in a row. Don’t skip any days! This method relies on the energy of the number 5, so it’s important to continue the habit of writing down your affirmations for 5 days.
- Once you’ve finished writing down your affirmations each day, release your desires to the universe and go about your day knowing that they are coming. At this stage, don’t worry about how or when they will come, just enjoy knowing that they are coming and that it’s only a matter of time before your desires or the opportunities to achieve them show up.
11.) Act As If
This method isn’t really a method but a law called the Law of Assumption. This law works by visualizing how you would feel having your desires and embodying that version of you. What I mean by ‘embodying’ is going about your day thinking and feeling how that version of you would think and feel. Present yourself as that person. How would they act? How would they talk? If you already had everything you wanted, how would you feel and present yourself to the world?
In the end, there’s no ‘best method’ for manifesting so it’s important to test out different methods and find the one that works best for you. You might find that you manifest best by doing a variety of methods to keep you excited and motivated, or you might find yourself creating your own manifestation method.
Remember, methods are more like tools than anything else. You can definitely manifest without using any methods, but merely by setting an intention. Whatever you decide to do, remember methods don’t manifest, you do.
