Take a look at your morning habits, what is the first thing you do in the morning? Do you check your phone? Roll around your bed for a couple minutes and snooze on your alarm? Maybe you write down something you’re grateful for or something you wish to happen during the day. Whatever it is, it’s important to master your morning to transform your day.
In this blog post, we’ll discuss the best morning manifestation practices to set yourself up for success and start your day off on a positive note. By aligning yourself to the energy and frequencies of your desires, you become more magnetic to them, attracting them into your life with more ease.

Positive Morning Practices to Start Your Day
The power of morning manifestation practices

You can engage in manifestation practices during any time of the day, but there’s something about the morning that really helps you to attract your manifestation with more ease. When you wake up in the morning, you’re starting off on a clean slate. This means anything from the day before can be left behind. So, rather than focusing on your worries or your lacks, it’s important to fill your mind with positive affirmations, thoughts and feelings.
The energy you cultivate in the morning seeps into the rest of your day, which means if you start your day off on a high note, you’re more likely to experience a positive day and attract better things into your life.
1. Gratitude

What’s the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning? For some people, they immediately wake up worrying about their problems. They don’t realize that by focusing on their problems, they’re lowering their vibration, making it more difficult to be in alignment with their dreams and desires. If you find yourself doing the same, or just need an extra positive boost in the morning, try starting your day off with gratitude.
Gratitude is a wonderful tool to give you a burst of positivity and help you to look for the good things that appear throughout your day. Gratitude can also help to release worries and stress, letting you experience life in a more present and fulfilling way.
When you wake up in the morning, either say something you are grateful for or write it down in a journal. You can create a gratitude list or simply find one thing to be grateful for to begin with. When you start looking for things to be grateful for, your world become a brighter, more fulfilling place!

2. Visualize

Visualizing is a great tool when it comes to manifestation. When you think of something, your thoughts give off an energy which the universe responds to. That’s why you may have heard people say things such as ‘thoughts become things’ or ‘if you think it, you can have it’. The fact is this: Your thoughts create your reality. So be aware of your thoughts! Just as you would nurture a child, nurture your mind with love, care and positivity.
Try visualizing how you would like your day to go. If there is something specific you would like to attract, focus on that, and try to put yourself into the visualization. Feel how you would if that situation already happened.
If you find it difficult to visualize from first person perspective (visualizing through your own eyes) you can also visualize from a third person perspective (watching yourself from an outside perspective).
If visualization just isn’t for you, try your hand at another manifestation practice. We’ll be discussing another useful tool next; affirmations.
3. Affirmations

When starting off your morning, it’s important to feed your mind with positive thoughts. Rather than focusing on the negative, set a positive intention for your manifestations and recite affirmations to cement those positive thoughts into your mind.
You can either recite affirmations in your head or write them down on a piece of paper. Choose an affirmation that feels good to you and aligns with your desires. Also make sure to recite your affirmations in the past or present tense, (“I am receiving….” or, “I received….”). Try to avoid using affirmation in the future tense (“I will get….”). If you affirm that you will be getting something, you are affirming to the universe that your desires are in the future and that you don’t currently have them. Because the universe responds to your current energetic state (you attract what you are, not necessarily what you want), try to be in the vibrational state of already having what it is you want.

4. Water

Drinking water first thing in the morning is a powerful habit to have on its own, keeping you hydrated and healthy, but water is also another great tool when it comes to manifestation. Water has a powerful cleansing energy and can be programmed with your intentions and energy, helping you to manifest your desires.
How to use water to manifest:
- Take a glass of water.
- Feel as much gratitude for it as you can. You have clean drinking water to keep you healthy and alive, how great is that?
- Repeat your manifestation intention either in your head or out loud and focus on infusing the water with this energy. You can imagine this as a bright, positive light being infused into the water and helping you to manifest your desires.
- Mindfully, drink the water once you’re done.
5. Journal

When it comes to a positive manifestation morning practice, nothing beats journaling. Journaling can be used in a wide variety of ways and there are no limits when it comes to keeping one. For instance, you can use it for gratitude, affirmations, or just to keep all your dreams in goals in one place.
Ways to journal
- Brain dump
If you find yourself worrying in the morning or having difficulty clearing out your mind, try brain dumping. Just as it sounds, dump every thought you have into your journal. Don’t try and filter what comes through and just write. (You’re letting go of stress and negativity, not writing a masterpiece so be lenient with yourself.)
- Intention setting
If you’re trying to manifest anything, you first need to set an intention. You don’t need to use a journal to do this, but it can be helpful to have all your intentions in one place.
- Manifestation methods
Just like it sounds, manifestation methods are specific methods used to help you attract your desires into your life. Many manifestation methods require you to write down affirmations for a specific number of times (such as the 369 method or the 5×55 method) but there are others that are not time-consuming such as the 17 seconds manifestation method which is great for very busy people (anyone can spare 17 seconds!).
What’s important to remember while using manifestation methods is that they aren’t manifesting anything, you are! Methods are only tools, so approach them with positive intentions to help you speed up the manifestation process.
Choosing a journal is one of the best parts about this practice! Pick one that expresses you perfectly. Personally, I love this adorable journal (there’s a smiley moon, how cute is that?) but make sure to choose the one that make you feel your best.
6. Meditation and yoga

Meditation and yoga aren’t only used for physical movement and spiritual growth. They can be great in helping you to cultivate a positive mindset in order to manifest what you want. For instance, meditation can help us to release negative thoughts and blockages and make space for receiving our manifestations. On the other hand, yoga can be helpful in grounding us to the present moment and realigning ourselves with our mind and body.
When it comes to manifesting, we can sometimes get stuck in the future or the past, but we can never manifest from those places. We can only ever manifest in the present moment. By grounding yourself to the now, you become more aligned to your desires, attracting them more quickly into your life.
How to find the best practices for you
When you’re choosing your morning manifestation habits, it’s important to choose the ones that resonate with you. What makes you feel good? What puts you in a good mood? Don’t do something just because you feel you have to do it. In fact, this mindset can actually block your manifestation and cause more harm than good. So, make sure your in a positive vibrational state before engaging in a manifestation practice!
Start small
Morning habits can be overwhelming at times, especially if you’re not used to having a morning routine. but manifestation habits don’t have to be complicated or difficult. If you don’t like waking up early, choose something quick, maybe say one thing you’re grateful for before you get out of bed or try the 17 second manifestation method.
Whatever it is, there’s something out there for you! Start with something small if you’re overwhelmed and work your way up by slowly incorporating more positive habits into your morning.
In the end….
Morning habits are great, not only for cultivating a positive mindset, but also to help get the ball rolling on your manifestations. The morning is such a powerful time and really sets the tone for the rest of your day, so take advantage of it! Maybe putting some uplifting music on while you get ready is your morning manifestation practice, or maybe it’s engaging in a short meditation to put yourself in a good place mentally. Whatever it is, dabble in a couple different habits and choose the ones that get you feeling your best.
