Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you just can’t seem to manifest what you want. You may feel stuck, frustrated and depleted of energy, asking yourself what you’re doing wrong, or why the Law of Attraction isn’t working for you. If you do feel this way, you’re not alone.

Many people in their manifestation journeys, at one point or another, find themselves face to face with a manifestation block. It can be difficult to get out of it, especially if you don’t even know what’s blocking your manifestations in the first place. It can be undoubtedly frustrating, but before you give up on manifesting all together, let’s take a look at 7 things that may be blocking your desires from manifesting into your life.

Doubt and Fear

Doubt and fear are extremely powerful emotions, especially when it comes to manifesting. Unfortunately, these emotions can often cause powerful blockages, keeping you from manifesting what you want in life.

Sometimes, wanting something so much that you become obsessed with it can lead to a sense of anxiety which can turn into feelings of fear and doubt. You may find yourself feeling afraid of what will happen if you don’t receive your desires, or doubtful that they will come into your life.

When you try and manifest from a place of ‘need’, your point of attraction is no longer in a state of ease and alignment. Suddenly manifestation can seem like a burdensome activity, rather than an enjoyable one, as it’s meant to be.

Feelings of fear and doubt surrounding your desires can oftentimes cause blockages. This is because your fears and doubts are being projected out into the universe and the universe, much like a mirror, reflects back onto you what you send out. This can slow down or halt your manifestations altogether.

Although it can be difficult to release these worries and fears, it’s essential to quickly manifest your desires into your life.

In order to overcome these blockages, it’s important to remind yourself that what you focus on expands. When you focus on and visualize your desires, try to place yourself in a relaxed state, releasing all tension and doubt. Try to find a sense of ease and alignment with your desires, trying your best to trust that the universe will deliver when the time is right.

Obsession

Although it’s important to focus and place attention on your desires, if it’s something you really want, obsession can sometimes creep in and overtake you. Obsessing over your desires can actually block and slow them down, rather than speed them up. The reason for this is because when you are obsessing over what you want, you are holding onto your desires to the point that you are not allowing the universe to do its work.

Part of manifesting is sending out an intention, positively focusing on it and then releasing it and allowing the universe to deliver it to you. The last step is usually where people find it difficult. When you want something very badly it can be difficult to release it, but manifesting is a partnership between you and the universe, so it’s important to trust and allow it to fulfill your desires.

This means not placing so much importance on your desires and healthily focusing on what you want without growing obsessed over it. It may also be helpful to find a way to be okay with your current reality.

Funny enough, oftentimes when you find a way to be okay without your desires, your desires tend to suddenly manifest into your life. This usually happens because there is no resistance and the obsessive energy which had been blocking your manifestations has resolved.

Avoiding Your Shadow Self

Shadow work happens when you go into the darker parts of your soul, which is often referred to as the shadow self, to a place you may have repressed or hidden away in difficult situations. It is the process of evaluating your soul and allowing yourself to go deep within in order to resolve any trauma, fears or negative beliefs. This process can be difficult for many people who can feel uncomfortable or afraid of their own selves or their past experiences. However, ignoring this part of yourself may be the reason why your desires aren’t appearing into your life.

If your desires stem from negative emotions and beliefs such as fear or anger, this may be the reason for blockages in your manifestation journey.

Beginning Shadow work can sometimes be daunting and scary, especially if there is a lot of negativity hidden within. However, the more you work on releasing this negativity, the lighter you will feel, and the higher your vibration will become. This will allow you to more easily manifest what you want without the blockages of your shadow self.

Unworthiness

Feeling worthy of your desires is an important aspect of manifesting. When you feel worthy, you send out that vibration into the universe, and strongly attract your desires to you. Likewise, when you feel unworthy, you send out that vibration.

This feeling of unworthiness can oftentimes make it difficult to manifest your desires because you are not in the vibration of receiving.

When you feel unworthy, you are basically telling the universe that you don’t deserve what it is you want, and because that is what you believe, the universe responds by aligning to your belief, making it very difficult to manifest your desires.

One way to overcome this is to work on your self-esteem, understanding that you are deserving of your dreams. Try visualizing yourself with your desires, feeling content, full and worthy of them.

The more worthy you feel, the more positive your vibrations, and the quicker you will attract your desires to you.

Not having a clear intention

If you have too many desires, or if you are constantly going back and forth on what you want, it can be difficult to manifest your dreams.

For example, if you want a car, but sometimes desire it to be red and other times to be yellow, your intentions get tangled up and your manifestations can take a while to appear because the universe isn’t sure exactly what it is you want.

That’s why it’s important to fully know what you desire, down to the smallest details, and set out a clear intention of what it is you want. If you change your mind along the way, make your new desire equally clear, allowing the universe to understand and deliver your requests.

Not doing your part

Manifesting is a two-way street. It takes you doing your part, while knowing when to allow the universe to do its part.

It’s important to allow the universe to bring you your desires, but at the same time, it is equally important to identify and take up opportunities when they are presented to you. For example, if you wish to manifest love into your life, you can’t stay at home all the time and expect the love of your life to magically appear in your living room.

Manifestation takes inspired action on your part, doing things that call you, and taking action when you feel encouraged to.

When you set out an intention for something, the universe will begin to show you signs and opportunities to help fulfil your desires. You might see more of what you want in your everyday life and more opportunities regarding your desires may be presented to you.

The universe provides open doors and opportunities but it’s up to you whether you take them or not.

Low Vibration

Having a low vibration can also block your manifestations. If you aren’t on the same vibration as your desires, it can be difficult to manifest them. Being in a high vibration is essential to manifesting what you want. Because your desires have a certain vibration, you must raise your own in order to align to their energy. When you are a match to your desires, then they can easily and effortlessly flow into your life.

Signs of a High Vibrations are:

  • Feeling at ease
  • Feeling peaceful
  • Feeling joyful
  • A sense of alignment with life
  • A feeling that everything will be alright
  • Trust in the universe
  • Feeling confident and worthy

Signs of a Low Vibration are:

  • Feelings of anger
  • Feelings of fear
  • Distrust in the universe
  • Distrust in yourself
  • Feelings of Unworthiness
  • Depression

Although it’s nearly impossible to always be in a state of high vibration, it can be easily incorporated into your life by making time for joy.

Feeling joy is one of the easiest ways to raise your vibration. This can be done by finding ways to do more things that make you happy, even if it’s only for a few minuets each day.

Being in a high vibration can dissolve blockages and more quickly and effortlessly attract your desires into your life.
