Spend time in nature
Stepping out into nature is a great way to release any pent-up stress or frustration lingering from your day. When you connect with mother nature, you are able to quiet your mind and better appreciate the world around you.
Take a walk outside or go to your local park, maybe set aside some time for a picnic and enjoy spending time in nature. Feel the wind in your hair and the grass beneath your feet. Chances are, you’ll find yourself feeling more and more relaxed the longer you connect to the natural world around you.
Listen to Music

Make up positive, feel-good scenarios in your head and allow your mind to wander for a little while to help yourself relax. You may find yourself feeling more rejuvenated and refreshed when you open your eyes.
Aromatherapy
Many scents can have relaxing effects on our bodies and can help us to relax and unwind after a stressful day.
If you have a diffuser, use some unwinding essential oils or, if not, light incense or a scented candle. Some relaxing scents include: Lavender, Orange, Bergamot and Jasmine, just to name a few. Focus on your breath and take some time to fully enjoy these soothing scents.
These are only a few ways you can unwind and relax after a stressful day. Maybe you prefer spending time with others to release stress or perhaps you prefer being alone and engaging in activities such as meditation and yoga. Whatever it is, find what works for you and makes you feel the best.
